PA PIEAK

Pa Pieak is the face of DMF when it comes to welcoming visitors to his loving community. As a member of the community conservation group, Pa Pieak takes on many roles and specializes in providing logistical support. With his great humor and fun character, Pa Pieak has welcomed over 3,000 tourists who visited DMF in the past 6 years.

Fun Facts

  • Pa Pieak loves exploring caves. He is the main guide for Si Ton cave, which houses 20,000+ Buddhist statues. His favorite one, however, is Badal Cave, with 10 rooms filled with shiny stalagmites and stalactites.

  • With the skill of a mountain goat, Pa Pieak is an expert climber who makes sure you get to the top of Dong Mafai’s many cliffs safely!

  • Pa Pieak’s farmhouse is open for visitors to cook, collect home-grown vegetables, and fish.

  • Pa Pieak trains the youth in the community to become the next generation of tour guides.

  • Pa Pieak wants visitors to experience the authenticity of nature and biodiversity untouched by industrial activities.
